About the Combat Sports Showcase

The State Games of America is the nation's largest multi-sport event for amateur athletes, bringing together competitors from all 50 states. In 2026 it comes to State College, PA – right here in Happy Valley – and the Combat Sports Showcase will be held at Legacy Boxing & Combat Sports Academy (2820 East College Ave, Suite F).

Legacy Boxing & Combat Sports Academy has been selected to host the Combat Sports Showcase, featuring both boxing and MMA competition. Athletes from local boxing clubs and collegiate programs affiliated with the National Collegiate Boxing Association (NCBA) will step into the ring to compete at the highest amateur level.

All boxing bouts are sanctioned by USA Boxing and the NCBA, ensuring top-tier competition standards, certified officials, and athlete safety protocols. MMA competition details will be announced as they become available.
